FIBRA DE COCO
Fibra de Coco or “Coconut Fiber” is a 100% natural inert substrate that provides great porosity, and is ideal for promoting plant & root growth. BioTerra’s Fibra de Coco is PREMIUM QUALITY; we double or triple wash it in order to guarantee it’s low conductivity. Because Coconut Fiber is a renewable resource, it is known as an environmentally friendly substitute for Peat Moss.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Mix Fibra de Coco in desired proportions (ideally between 30%-90% of total volume of final substrate)
Planting in potting mixes with higher proportions of Fibra de Coco require more applications of fertilizer throughout all growing phases.
Planting in potting mixes with lower proportions of Fibra de Coco and mixing with more compost provides greater retention of water and nutrients, therefore requiring fewer applications of fertilizer throughout all growing phases.
We recommend mixing Fibra de Coco with BioTerra’s Compost Premium and Perlite.
